How to activate dark mode in Chrome on your Mac or MacBook

In case you want to have dark mode activated in Chrome at all times, and not only when you are using dark mode in macOS, you must enter the following: ‘ /Applications/Chromium.app/Contents/MacOS/Chromium –force- dark-mode ‘.

How to change the color of the Chrome screen on your Mac or MacBook

Alternatively, you can simply darken the Google Chrome window by choosing one of the themes that the browser lets you choose in its configuration. To do this, simply follow the steps below:

. Go to the collection of Google themes by clicking on this link .

. With the ‘Theme’ tab selected, choose the theme you prefer. In this case, we recommend the black ‘Just Black’, since it is the one that most resembles the dark mode.

. In the new window, click on the blue ‘ Add to Chrome ‘ button that you will see in the upper right. In a few seconds, you will see that the windows that you have open change color. So will those you open from now on.
