The OnePlus 7 will arrive shortly and it is rumored that it can be even cheaper than the previous model OnePlus 6T. We tell you all the news of the new OnePlus 7, from the possible date and price to all the rumors and filtered information.

Although there are still almost two months to go before the launch of the new OnePlus 7, key details about the new smartphone have already been leaked, such as price and specifications.

It is the Giztop distribution page that has filtered these details, although the OnePlus 7 ad may have been created based on rumors only to get more publicity and links to its website (like the one we just posted).

According to this page, the OnePlus 7 will cost about € 70 less than the previous model OnePlus 6T. It also states that the OnePlus 7 will have a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with water drop screen and fingerprint sensor on the screen.

The processor will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 2.84 GHz with Adreno 640 GPU, 8/12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage capacity.

It will also have a triple lens rear camera (48 MP + 20 MP + 5 MP + 5 MP), a 16 MP automatic pop-up camera, a 4,000 mAh battery compatible with the 44 W Dash Charge and the OS 9 operating system. Oxygen OS, based on Android Pie technology.

When will the OnePlus 7 go on sale?

There has been a lot of talk that OnePlus will launch a 5G phone in the first half of 2019 (before the end of May) according to the company – and at the February MWC it showed the mysterious device hidden behind the glass.

It is believed that this will be a more expensive version of the standard version of OnePlus 7, which does not support 5G, and therefore it makes sense that both phones are released in May.

OnePlus usually launches two flagship phones a year, the last OnePlus 6T was announced at the end of October 2018 and went on sale in early November.

Previously, OnePlus 6 was announced on May 16, 2018, following the announcement of OnePlus 5 on June 20, 2017.

How much will the OnePlus 7 cost?

The cost of the phone is one of the key elements of OnePlus, and although we have come a long way from the OnePlus One (for around € 200), we do not believe that OnePlus is ready to break the € 500 barrier for now .

The OnePlus 6T starts its price at € 549 and we have not seen anything in the specifications that suggest that the OnePlus 7 will raise this price more – at least not for the standard model. We expect a 5G version to cost more, potentially more than € 650.  Sponsored Links

Although in the initial part of the article we talked about prices published by Giztop we can not assure that these are the real prices since the brand has not confirmed anything yet.

OnePlus 7: speculation rumors

In the MWC OnePlus confirmed that the 5G phone that remained protected at all times behind the glass would carry the Snapdragon 855 with the X50 modem. It was obvious that the device had a 21: 9 screen.

The information that most caught our attention was the company’s comment that there would also be a 4G version of the phone with minor differences, suggesting that the 5G OnePlus is simply a more expensive version of the OnePlus 7, in the same way that the Galaxy S10 5G is a variant of the standard S10 not 5G S10.

If this is true, one of those small differences between the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 5G will almost certainly be the modem, with the standard model in place the X24 will not be able to take advantage of the next generation connectivity standard .

The processor itself is super fast, with a 45% improvement in overall processing power and 20% in graphics compared to 845, and would put the next OnePlus 7 at the same level as the Galaxy S10, the LG G8 and the Xperia 1, but at a much lower price.

In the second quarter, the standard OnePlus 7 is expected to reach a price below € 550.

In the OnePlus 6T we saw 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage as standard, but there are options of 8GB and even 10 GB of RAM, in addition to 256 GB of storage, available.

In the OnePlus 7 we will see that 8 GB of RAM will become the standard, while the high range could go even further, up to 12 GB of RAM.

That storage is especially noteworthy because OnePlus 7 is credited with “the new and super fast UFS 3.0 variety,” according to the Twitter filter Ice Universe.

In the photo above it shows what could be the exterior of the next OnePlus phone in flesh and blood (through Slashleaks). The phone on the left has ultra-thin bezels and there is no notch in sight, suggesting that we might see an automatic pop-up camera.

Later images also published in Slashleaks reveal exactly that, although many of the experts have claimed to believe that the images are false.

We still do not know if OnePlus will follow the path of the emerging camera or the drilling, but it is worth noting that the latter was expected for the Oppo R19, a high-end phone that was previously thought to be imminent.

With some similarities between the two companies and a lot of overlap between previous releases, we would not have been surprised to see a similar design.

However, the company has confirmed that the R19 will not be launched in 2019, but another flagship with the Snapdragon 855 processor will do it, most likely the Oppo Find Z.

Oppo VP Shen Yiren has published on Weibo that an upcoming flagship will feature the Snadragon 855 chipset , a 4,065 mAh battery and a 10x hybrid zoom camera . It is expected to arrive in the second quarter of 2019.

We will see again the AMOLED screen of 6.41 inches with fingerprint sensor on the screen, although we do not expect the resolution of the screen to be higher than that of Full-HD +, since this would affect the price and the battery life , and the Quad-HD is not considered a necessity.

The cameras can also see an update, with many smartphone makers moving toward a triple lens array in the back. This was rumored for the OnePlus 6T, although the phone launched at the end of last year actually has a double lens model of 16Mp + 20Mp.

We also expected wireless charging to be introduced in the OnePlus 6T, and the company has previously suggested that the inclusion of the rear glass cover would make it possible.

However, OnePlus has complained that wireless charging is not fast enough to be practical. With 27W slanted for the next Galaxy S10, we certainly would not rule it out for the OnePlus 7.

Another feature very sought after for the OnePlus series is waterproofing or adequate water resistance. Will OnePlus 7 be the phone that finally introduces the feature?
